"I was in room 140, small double, ideal for me and my dog, very clean indeed, nice bathroom, plenty of hot water, comfy bed and pillows, tea making facilities, gorgeous sea view, working radiator, room was nice and warm, I don't need any more than that as I'm out and about enjoying myself, having a good time in Whitby and surrounding area."

the location was acceptable with easy access to local attractions.

the room i was given was quite disappointing. it felt outdated and wasn't particularly clean (i found dust in several places). also, the noise from nearby rooms and the hallway was constant. it made it difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep.
